A few weeks ago I headed to the London office of Virtual Clarity, an IT consultancy based in London and New York, to photograph their headshots.
The job was done in two days and it was amazing to have a chat with most part of the staff.
I always talk a lot when shooting portraits. I try to know a little bit about the person I'm shooting, I ask where are they from, what's their role in the company, if they have any hobbies and what are their happy thoughts.
This is because I am curious about people but also so they relax and feel more confident in front of the camera.
For this particular job, I used a beautifully hand-painted Hapaca backdrop.
